A stunning, modern, elegant sit down wedding from all over Victoria

Caitlin & Lachlan wedding day was a dream come true. On the 15th of March 2025 their 125 guests from Melbourne, Bendigo & Warrnambool along some overseas travellers came together for a weekend in the small quaint town of Maffra. Which - let’s be honest - is always a question mark for everyone, why Maffra!? But then country hospitality kicks in, and people are generally more relaxed, going out for a pre- wedding dinner and recovery session the next day, whilst not 1 person needs to do home chores... it is just that - more relaxing.

Caitlin & Lachlan also make sure they had the absolute A team covering their wedding day, making sure they not only have a great personal connection/vibe, but also confidence in their wedding suppliers, so they can relax and be in the moment all day and night.

Guests arrived being welcomed at the gate by our staff with a choice of Sparkling, Beer & Peach Bellini’s and Limoncello Spritz’s. And then you could hear the “ohhh and ahhh thats why” from guests entering the property and the trip to Maffra now fully makes sense. It’s always nice to see that reaction.

They have chosen the popular Stables lawns, with the lush green hedge as their backdrop so that their stunning white and green florals by the team of Victoria Hall really stand out. Clouds of green and white hydrangea accented by softly reflexed roses, hanging amaranth and cascading fern was the vision for Caitlin and Lachlan. The white wooden bentwood chairs - a perfect match to this ‘modern, old-wordly look’, with some fans for the comfort of each guest. They also added a row of chairs for their wedding party to take a seat once the official marrying part began, what a great idea to have your special friends so close by but also making this about the two of them.

Kellie Eddy tied the knot with laughter and goosebump moments so they walked down the aisle to acoustic music by Aiden from Little Wolf Entertainment and went straight into pouring the bubbles for their Champagne Tower. A toast, a kiss and happy congratulations from everyone.

Coming into the clear view marquee was like being transported to a classic, elegant garden estate in France. The linen fabric seating chart hanging from the 150 year old Fig trees, together with the stunning ‘bloom wishing well’ by Ciara Aloisio inviting all guests to the stunning reception set up by the team of Victoria Hall. The ceremony flowers carefully relocated to become the most epic bar florals of the season.

All guests were seated on 3 long rows linen draped tables. The team from Tinamba served up a delicious feasting style menu, which always sets the atmosphere and created the nicest, cheerful, happy buzzing sound.

Little Wolf Entertainment were placed on our DJ Booth and when Aiden came out with the Sax, it elevated the party to next level Time of a Life event (maybe also with support from a few freshly shaken Epresso Martini’s) - the dance floor was packed until the very end of night. Feet sore from dancing, faces sore form smiling. A dream wedding for Caitlin & Lachlan and all their guests.
