For Claire & Blair, an intimate celebration at Mewburn Park was exactly what they envisioned.
With just 22 guests, their wedding was less about putting on a show and more about creating a beautiful, meaningful gathering with the people who mattered most.

A wedding designed around what mattered most
Blair has never been someone who enjoys being the centre of attention, and with their beautiful young son as part of their family story, Claire and Blair knew they wanted a wedding day that felt relaxed, comfortable and genuine.
They weren’t looking for a big production. They wanted a day where they could actually spend time with their family, enjoy every conversation, and soak up the moments together.
That is what makes intimate weddings so special.
With a smaller guest list, every detail becomes more intentional. Every person there has a meaningful place in your story, and the day naturally becomes more connected and personal.

Cocktails, oysters and a relaxed afternoon celebration
The celebration began with a beautifully styled cocktail hour, featuring a show-stopping cocktail tower with two signature cocktails:

🥃 Whisky Sour
Guests enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere while indulging in an oyster bar and delicious canapés before moving into the marquee for dinner.
For Claire and Blair, food was an important part of creating a memorable experience. Their intimate guest list allowed them to focus on quality, connection and sharing an incredible meal together.
The evening featured a beautiful sit-down dining experience from two of their favourite local restaurants, Little Prince and Neilsons Restaurant, bringing restaurant-quality dining into their Mewburn Park celebration.

An intimate celebration with incredible attention to detail
While the guest list was small, the styling was anything but understated.
Claire and Blair worked with Jemma from Creative Kindred Styling to create a beautifully layered and elegant atmosphere throughout the property.
The marquee was transformed with a stunning curved dining table, soft fabrics, warm lighting and carefully considered details that made the space feel welcoming, romantic and completely unique to them.
The result was a beautiful balance of relaxed country charm and elegant sophisticated wedding styling.
