The estate offers a wide range of ceremony spaces for you to choose from.
In the perfect manicured gardens with shady oak & elm trees, in front of the iconic historical 1850s brick Stables or using the charm of the wisteria - plenty of options to make it yours. Your chosen ceremony area is also your space where the ‘After Ceremony Drinks or Cocktail hour(s)’ commences, a fully set up with our white pop up bar, and matching bar tables and stools, perfect space to mingle & embrace the beauty of nature!
The Old Farmers Shed is our undercover ceremony & cocktail hour space (comes in handy if it rains) decked out with trees and lounges to keep you in the garden vibes.

We’ve positioned the stunning clear-view marquee so that you & your guests get the most out of the stunning views: overlooking the homestead gardens, farmland, mountain ranges & old brick stables.
The 25 x 10 meter spacious open- air marquee, offering plenty of space for a sit down (max. 160* guests) or a relaxed cocktail party (max. 180* guests), provides uninterrupted views of the property and the sky above.
The marquee is fully equipped with everything you need: from wooden tables, white bentwood chairs, a portable bar, bar furniture, sparkling fairy lights combined with dimmed festoon lights, concrete flooring & decking, fans and heaters, as well as plenty of electricity for your entertainment - all included in our venue hire.
It’s a blank canvas waiting for your personal touch with styling & co.
Venue Hire Options

Take all the time you need on this amazing day! Arrive in the morning to get ready in the Retreat Suite (access from after 8.30am), where you can relax and prepare yourself for your special day - absolute stress free. We’ll supply Champagne/refreshing drinks, croissants & nibbles and a grazing box while you enjoy being pampered with your tribe. This package also allows for an earlier start of your ceremony, since the venue is all day exclusively booked for your wedding (15 hour venue hire).

Getting ready at your family’s home? Well then this package is starting with your ceremony from 4pm onwards. This is an 8hr venue package and includes all furniture and marquee hire.

8hr marquee hire package. Getting ready at your family’s home or married at another place of your desire? Well then this may be right for you, this package is giving you the option for your ceremony and/or cocktail-hour to start from 4pm onwards. Your designated area will be set up with a pop up bar, with white matching bar furniture, chairs and lounges for your guests to enjoy the gardens before entering the marquee for your reception.

2.5hr Garden or Stables package. Mewburn Park offers a variety of picturesque ceremony locations within 20 acres of gardens. Choose anywhere in the lush gardens or at Stables and we’ll set everything up. After your ceremony, your photographer will have time to take plenty of photos with an endless variety of stunning backdrops. Please note: ‘Ceremony only’ packages are generally not available on Fridays & Saturdays in peak season (October to April), please reach out for further information to see if we can accommodate your request.
For your ceremony we offer a $35 per person Beverage Package or a minimum bar spend of $1500.

Let’s make your intimate wedding a dream come true. This is for the lovers out there who want only their nearest and dearest around them, whilst still enjoying a stunning location and excellent service. This package is designed for a Sunday to Thursday, but please always check with us on weekend availability.

Our Loaded Beverage Package

A serviced bar will be set up for you at your desired ceremony location and later a fully stocked bar in the marquee (cocktails & spirits available then). Starting from 6hr packages: $79.00 per Person (i.e. 4.30pm - 10.30pm)
Every additional hour is $10 per person. We can alter the starting time of your beverage package to the starting time of your ceremony. The beverage package will always go to the end of the night ensuring excellent service from our staff. If you would like to upgrade to local wines or premium beers, please get in touch with us for more info. It’s no worries.

WINES: BTW Zilzie Sparkling, Moscato, Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé, Cab Merlot and Bay of Stones Chardonnay and Shiraz as well as local Avon Ridge Cab Sav and Sauvignon Blanc and 0% sparkling bubbles.

BEER: A selection of assorted Australian beers, Carlton Dry and Carlton Draught; Great Northern mid strength and James Boags lights as well as a 0% Peroni’s will always be ice cold in the fridges for you. If you like to add a different beer, please be in touch.
If you like an upgrade to Coronas, Peronis or Stone & Wood it is a $4 additional cost per person.
CIDERS: Our local tasty Gippsland Ciders either Apple or Apple & Pear are such a refreshing alternative.
NON ALCOHOLIC: For all the non drinkers, we have our delicious alcoholic free ‘Lady Mewburn’ Mocktail Punch ready; as well as sparkling mineral water, soft drinks/juices, coffee & tea.

Mewburn Park is surrounded by many small quaint towns with loads of accommodation options (hotels, motels, airbnb’s, apartments…). Most of our couples opt for a bus to transport guests safely back and forth.

Yes, once you secured your date, we will send a list of suppliers with an overview of a timeline of when to book whom. YAY - Let the fun of wedding planning begin. Closer to your wedding date, we will meet for a ‘Detailmeeting’, bring your stylist along and we will go through everything, creating a run-sheet/timeline and seating-chart.
